Kanga LD Range Grader Blade

KANGA LD Grader Blades are the next generation design for grading and scraping in Australia.

Designed for maximum versatility with simple manual adjustments the operator can move material side to side, offset the blade to grade in hard to reach areas and tilt the blade to grade a camber into a slope or road to aid water runoff.

The reinforced mouldboards involuted design enables more efficient and continuous cutting, mixing and rolling of material while the cutting edge is reversible to extend its lifespan.

Features:

Construction

Main beam

• Long, folded/formed 5mm tapered design
• Lifting hook for lifting and storage
• Front mounting plate is folded and reinforced for greater structural integrity

Blade mouldboard

• Folded and formed 6mm rear blade section
• Blade is designed to be reversed 180° for back blading (pushing backwards)
• Blade ‘wings’ and a high, 400mm ground clearance, to control a larger volume of material

All three blade adjustments pivot points are bushed and/or reinforced with external grease nipples for easy lubrication

Grading

The cutting edges are:

• 150 x 12mm with countersunk bolt holes
• Heat treated, through-hardened, quenched and tempered alloy steel
• Hardness ratings between 450-510
• Centre-line drilled making them reversible
• Secured with high-tensile plough bolts

The main beam positions the majority of the implements weight over the cutting edge reducing blade ‘bounce’ leaving a smooth level finish

Angle Adjustment

Angle adjustment controls the blade section and cutting edge on the horizontal plane. It controls the lateral movement of material

• In the middle hole, the blade is perfectly straight across the back of the tractor
• There are two (2) holes on the left, for moving material right to left
• There are two (2) holes on the right, for moving material left to right

Tilt Adjustment

Tilt adjustment controls the blade section and cutting edge on the vertical plane. It is used for creating a camber or slight angle to the ground surface. At the maximum, it can be used to establish and maintain a ditch or drain

• In the middle hole, the blade is level and parallel to the ground
• There are two (2) holes on the left, for raising the left-hand side
• There are two (2) holes on the right, for raising the right-hand side

Offset Adjustment

Offset adjustment controls the position of the blade section and cutting edge in relation to the middle point of the tractor. It is used to move the blade and cutting edge out to the sides left and right of centre. It’s great for those hard-to-reach places and when the tractor cannot quite get close enough/does not want to

• In the middle hole, the blade is in a perfect ‘T’ straight behind the tractor
• There are three (3) holes on the left, for shift the blade out past the left wheel
• There are three (3) holes on the right, for shift the blade out past the right wheel
