Metis Machinery is an Australian-owned agricultural machinery business based in Oakey, Queensland. Founded by farmers James and Bec Tweddell, Metis was built from a genuine understanding of what farmers need from their machinery. With extensive experience across farming, machinery sales and agricultural businesses, James and Bec have seen first-hand the demands placed on equipment in Australian conditions. That experience is at the heart of the Metis approach — build tough, practical machinery that farmers can rely on.

Metis offers a growing range of heavy-duty agricultural machinery, including offset discs, slashers, aerators, spreaders, rippers, graders, rollers, seeders and other specialised equipment. Every machine is selected or developed with performance, durability and value in mind. Metis focuses on the things that matter in the paddock — strong construction, practical design and reliable performance — without loading the price with the premium that often comes with a big brand name. The result is serious agricultural machinery that delivers more machine for your money.

At Metis Machinery, we believe farmers shouldn't have to choose between quality and value. Our team works directly with farmers to understand their requirements and help them find the right equipment for the job, backed by genuine parts and after-sales support. Built Tough. Priced Right. Ready to Work. That's the Metis promise — machinery designed for Australian farmers, by people who understand what it takes to get the job done.
