Wiedenmann Terra Spike Gxi 8 HD
Applications: golf greens, tees, and sand based athletic fields with working depths of up to 250 mm.
The Wiedenmann TERRA SPIKE® GXi 8 HD is a powerful and highly productive deep-aeration machine, purpose-built for professional turf care on golf greens, tees, sandy sports fields, and other fine turf areas. Designed to remove compaction quickly and efficiently, it promotes healthier root growth, improved soil structure, and superior playing surfaces all year round.
KEY FEATURES:
Deep Aeration Performance: Penetrates to depths of up to 25 cm, eliminating soil compaction and enabling roots to grow deeper for enhanced water and nutrient uptake. Regular deep spiking improves drainage, reduces thatch, and increases turf stability and resilience.
High Output Efficiency: With a working speed of 3.2 km/h at 110 mm square hole spacing, the GXi 8 HD covers up to 5,600 m² per hour — reducing aeration time by up to 60% compared with conventional systems.
Low-Stress Design: Exclusive VibraStop and PowerPack damping systems minimise vibration, reducing operator fatigue and wear on the tractor for smooth, quiet operation.
Quick, Tool-Free Adjustments: The QuickSet system allows rapid, tool-free changes to working depth and tine entry angle. With an adjustment range from 90° to 65°, loosening intensity can be precisely matched to soil conditions.
Rapid Tine Changes: The QuickFit system makes tine replacement simple and fast, reducing downtime and boosting productivity.
Robust, Versatile Mounting: Designed for tractors from 26 kW (35 HP) upwards, the compact mounting ensures excellent manoeuvrability and large area coverage. PTO drive 540 RPM as standard.
